Anything I'm irked by enough to actually write sentences about. These are just my thoughts and opinions. I'm sure some people will love these features.

  • Being unable to customize the starting height and weight of your character, at least within the range of the brackets you selected. I don't get this one at all. I can splice my character with 18 different animals and designer DNA features before the game starts, but I can't set their height?
  • I selected tall and I think I rolled as 6 feet, nearly on the dot. While technically tall, surely it's hardly deserving of the "looming" adjective in a post-splicing society. I know Sol expressed a desire to not have giants running around, but perhaps 7-7.5 could be the upper band. I mean, there's taller people IRL right now.
  • The @s that prefix many commands. Is there a list of them all so we (I) could alias them client-side?
  • The colors assigned for my character's hair and eyes are much darker than what they were on the website. It'd be cool if we could just pick one ourselves.
  • Or let us use color codes in general in naked slots.
  • My splicer donors appearing in score. I put that in for admin notes and would have put something different if I knew I'd have to stare at it forever.

Strong agreement on height and weight - customization for this should be allowed without it having to be IC, as I ended up with values very different from how I envisioned my PC.

the @ is for OOC commands, like interfacing with OOC systems. it's good to have a distinction between the two

using color codes in general naked slots will just result in people making blinding nakeds full of gradients that nobody can be bothered to read

Maina likes this.

I like color codes in naked slots, as another person who picked something a lot lighter than what it looks like in game. I think if you can trust players to use color codes in clothing, you can probably trust them with color codes in descriptions as well.

Replying to hbag (Agora)

Well, that's your opinion.

I don't think allowing color codes in nakeds is any more "dangerous" than allowing them anywhere else they're enabled. If excessive color anywhere is an accessibility concern, perhaps a toggle could be made to disable or limit the display of them.
