The Unseen Guild
Pegasus holds a permanent charter seat on the Council of Six. They pay Church tithes on time, cast official votes on civic policy, and submit to council procedures. Unlike the other five guilds, Pegasus maintains no public floor in Delos, fields no spokespersons, lists no known naming particle, and has no visible members anywhere in the city.
Rumors and Speculation
What Pegasus actually does is an open question throughout Deshret. Street rumors and political theories range wildly across the city tiers. Some believe Pegasus is a covert surveillance front or black-budget arm for the Inquisition. Others argue it is a political sinecure and private payroll for the elite of Palatine. A third theory suggests they are a secluded tech collective building experimental hardware outside civic scrutiny. Inquiries sent to Pegasus receive no reply.
Patronage
Pegasus claims Saint Cinder as its patron saint, the Founder associated with dangerous fire, secret knowledge, and necessary technical hazards.
