Contentious topic on the discord. I'm of the opinion that the order I see them in should reflect what I would naturally see and take in first while looking at someone, while others prefer that it's based on how the body is physically arranged. Ultimately, both make sense and are personal, so maybe it's a good idea to let people customize the order body parts are seen when looking at people. You do lose some possibility of doing cute things with your @nakeds or worn item descriptions flowing into each other, but I think the gain in accessibility and personal experience would easily outweigh that.
The order @nakeds are displayed in
I think at most, people should be allowed to change how everyone's @nakeds are displayed to them. for example, you want eyes displayed above the face. ok, great, now everyone you look at will have their eyes displayed above their face, and it doesn't affect how they see your nakeds or anyone else's, as they have their own settings for that.
i don't think people should be able to change how their nakeds are arranged for other people. this will get very confusing very quickly and is just an unnecessary pain in the ass
the way I visualize what I'm reading is heavily dependent on the order when it comes to nakeds in similar systems (and in this case it's physical arrangement), but that's going to vary a lot like Aefore said. I think being able to adjust the order is a good idea
considering it's something that varies from person to person, it changing for you specifically is probably the best way to go about it, if it's possible. Being able to arrange my own character's nakeds in an order that makes sense to me is most important, but being able to visualize other people's chars without a nose on their forehead would also be ideal. (just as an example to how this prints in my brain)
it could additionally be in 'groups' if some tightened restrictions were wanted. i.e. things only being able to be arranged within the 'head' group, then the torso, then everything below the belt.
