Deshret observes a calendar similar to the one we use IRL, in terms of days/months/years. However, the days and months use different names, drawn from sources that are ICly unknown to the vast majority of people in Deshret. The primary exception might be the Abkal, who maintain it.
Since time between game and reality is 1:1 (i.e., one day elapses in game for every day in real life), this means there's a set rotation between months and days that corresponds to IRL.
The months of the year as as follows:
| --IRL Month-- | --In-Game Month-- |
|---|---|
| January | Nisannu |
| February | Ayaru |
| March | Simanu |
| April | Du'uzu |
| May | Abu |
| June | Ululu |
| July | Tashritu |
| August | Arahsamnu |
| September | Kislimu |
| October | Tebetu |
| November | Shabatu |
| December | Adaru |
The days of the week are, as follows:
| --IRL Day-- | --In-Game Day-- |
|---|---|
| Sunday | Shamash |
| Monday | Nanna |
| Tuesday | Nergal |
| Wednesday | Nabu |
| Thursday | Marduk |
| Friday | Ishtar |
| Saturday | Ninurta |
DATE AND TIME FORMATS
A full in-world date reads weekday, month and day, then AC year. For example:
Nergal, Nis 15, 386AC
Times are shown on a 24-hour clock.
