Technology is a critical part of life in Deshret. This might seem odd given Sepulchre's doctrine of technological control, but it's important to understand this doesn't mean Deshret would be technologically primitivist across the board. The Faith's taboo is around specific transgressions such as the union of machine and man, as well as trying to play God. As such, plenty of technological applications aren't sinful but even encouraged, such as the Tessera brainchips that connect every citizen to the network.
This page provides a brief overview of the technologies established to be extant in Deshret.

WEAPONRY
FIREARMS
Firearms very recognizable to modern eyes are common in Deshret. Pistols, revolvers, rifles and shotguns all exist. However, the difficulty and costs at times of accessing the most cutting-edge technologies means that more primitive firearms might well co-exist. In addition, illegal relic weaponry from the old world with far more sophisticated mechanisms does exist... but it's extremely rare, and mere possession of it is the kind of heresy that'd bring Sepulchre's Inquisition down on you!
MELEE WEAPONRY
While firearms exist and are obviously more useful in certain situations, melee weapons such as swords survive for the same reasons they did in history along early firearms: status, tradition, dueling and ceremony. A Deshretan swordsmith would not necessarily be crafting weapons known from modern history like a shamshir or a szabla or a paramerion, but it's perfectly permissible to utilize these patterns as inspiration for your designs.
A high-end Vulcani sword is a thing of beauty as well as function: patterned alloys, reliquaries, inscriptions, beautiful guards, etc. Some of these weapons count as genuine artifacts - heirlooms infused with exotic and unique qualities due to the expertise of their makers and the rarity of their materials.
But at the other end of the spectrum, Suburba certainly has people wielding cruder weaponry such as machetes, butcher's tools, or even sharpened bits of scrap.
The martial arts are taught openly at Hotel Destreza's public fencing hall, keeping such practices alive and popular. Their students and graduates are quite famous throughout the city.
