Forensics is already a great and valuable skill, but for those who wish to be investigator types, there are some additional, separate information gathering skills that could be helpful.
Peek / Assess - Determines what someone appears to be carrying, potentially also useful for thieves. Could also be used for determining other things like, if they appear to have been in combat recently.
Tracking - Used for detecting which creatures have been in a room recently and which direction they came from / went. Useful additionally for hunters/scavs. It could also be used for looking at someone and determining what type of rooms they have recently been in, and which type of tracks they would leave behind if they were traveling.
