I've spent the first few hours of the game's opening figuring out how to use some of the webclient's features, like routing text into a feed tab, since I wanted to have NOUS be on it's own. This is useful for anything, but I'm specifically using the NOUS as an example of how to do this.

The first thing you will want to do is to click the [ VIEWS ] button in the top right of the screen, and then click FEEDS under it. This will spawn a new window you can drag and put wherever you want. Any feeds you add will show under that window.

After, you will click the [ CFG ] button, and go under TRIGGERS. There, you can set up a number of things but the main section we care about is the Routing section.

You will click on the + route button, and in the first field, type this regex specifically for NOUS:

(?<=@).*?(?=>>)

And on the second field, you can type whatever you want- I typed simply NOUS for an easy identification of what the feed is. You can make a regex for anything in the main window to show up here.

The statement below no longer applies. There is now a button to hide the matching lines from your main terminal and only be on your side terminal instead. Just use that button to hide it.

One downside, is that it will STILL show up in the main window. As far as my testing went, putting the regex under the gag made it so the feed also got filtered. Unfortunately there's not much we can do about that as far as I can tell.

I will add pictures here later to make it easier for people to follow. <3

According to staff, the fact it remains in the main window is a bug. As is the fact that feeds don't auto-scroll to the bottom like the main terminal window (Unsure if that one's been fixed yet)

I don't think it was a bug, just a feature that didn't exist. It does exist now, so I'm updating the post.

Noticing that hiding it in the main terminal also keeps it hidden when downloading the log. Makes sense, but I think for the sake of record-keeping it should persist in the downloaded log, even if it's routed elsewhere and hidden in the main terminal during play.

I think that deserves its own thread as a suggestion but I'll make a note of it in the post.
